Many people do not realize that without proper protection, fruits such as apples and cherries become nearly
100 percent infested by two principle pests. The Codling Moth in apples and the Western Cherry Fruit Fly
in Cherries.
We are pleased to announce that we are successfully untilizing a "Reduced Risk" spray program.
IPM or Integrated Pest Management is the practice of trapping and montitoring pest populations, precise timing
of pesticide applications, and the use of Reduced Risk and Organic pesticides that target a specific pest or
group of pests rather than all pests.
With the use of IPM, it is possible to reduce the number of pesticide sprays necessary to control
these destructive pests.
